All of my designs shown here are made from hand forged pure silver links and findings, unless otherwise noted in the description. Fine silver is .999% pure, versus sterling which is .925%. I like working with pure silver because I can create the links with just a blow torch, no solder or other chemicals needed. Plus it has more luster and tarnishes less quickly than sterling. It is somewhat softer than sterling silver, so we put each piece through a vibrating tumbler to harden and polish the links. But you still want to be careful and not sleep in the more delicate pieces or toss them in your purse, etc! The best way to keep your silver jewelry looking great longer is to keep it in an airtight container out of direct sunlight. Heart Charms v2.1 - The second in the series of charm necklaces, this one also alternates round and hammered links of 18 gauge wire. The charms are hand crafted and attached with 18 or 20 gauge wire.
